Warranty Information
Your TOR REY scale includes a 1 year warranty on parts from the date of purchase. If you’re purchasing one of our price computing scales (L-PC-40L, PC Series or MFQ Series), we provide an additional 90 Express Warranty from the date of purchase. The Express Warranty provides scale replacement if the user experiences any issues during the initial 90 day period (see note below on what is not covered by the warranty).

If a manufacturing defect is found with your scale, please contact your dealer/place of purchase FIRST to initiate the claim/service procedure. If you are unable to contact your dealer, please send a request via the CONTACT link and provide the following information:
- Model Number
- Serial Number
- Date of Purchase
- Place of Purchase
- Specific Issue
- Contact Phone Number
- Contact Name
Even if you are contacting the dealer to initiate the claim/service procedure, they will need the information as well. We only sell through our dealers so they will be your first point of contact with your service request.
RETURNING A SCALE FOR SERVICE
When returning a scale for service it is VITAL to send the product in its original packaging or packaging that protects the product in a similar manner. Additionally, you must obtain an RMA NUMBER from your dealer before returning the scale. If the RMA NUMBER does not appear on the returned package it may be refused. Please follow the following procedure when returning a scale:
- Contact your dealer to obtain an RMA NUMBER
- If the scale is under the Express Warranty, your dealer or TOR REY will provide a UPS return label via fax or email. Contact your dealer for details.
- If the scale is under the 1 Year Warranty, the customer is responsible for shipping to TOR REY for repair. However, once repairs have been completed under warranty, TOR REY will pay to return the scale to you.
WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
The warranty provided by TOR REY covers manufacturers defects and wear through normal use during the warranty period (replacement batteries are not covered under the warranty UNLESS they are not functioning at the time of delivery). The warranty DOES NOT COVER:
- When the product is used in conditions other than normal and appropriate. Please note the EQM-W series scales are our washdown scales; other models are not waterproof. Any problems with the scale (other than the EQB-W series scales) that relate to water damage will not be covered under the warranty).
- When the product has not been operated in accordance with the users manual.
- When the product is altered or repaired by persons not authorized by TOR REY.
- This warranty does not cover service or home warranty.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
TOR REY does not give additional warranties of any kind other than detailed on your warranty card or displayed on this page. Authorized dealers may offer additional warranty options but these are unrelated to TOR REY and will only be honored by that specific dealer.
